Hello

Welcome!  My name is Jennifer Flores, and I am an Associate Licensed Social Worker under the supervision of Stacy Jackson LICSW-S. I am deeply empathetic to each individual’s unique journey, understanding that we are all shaped by our sociocultural and historical backgrounds. I approach every person’s struggle with humility and recognize that I can never fully “know” their experiences. My goal is to truly listen, collaborate, and support you in developing behaviors that empower you to navigate the world around you positively and confidently. I currently accept Alabama Children's Medicaid, Private Pay and select EAP's.

About Me

I am a proud Navy veteran with a passion for serving others. My journey has taken me and my family across the globe, offering invaluable life experiences and a deep appreciation for resilience, especially that of my children during times of stress and uncertainty. I graduated from the University of Southern California (USC) in 2017 and bring extensive experience in working with diverse populations, including active-duty military members, veterans, and their families. I specialize in addressing post-traumatic stress, navigating blended family dynamics and co-parenting, addiction recovery and its effects on families, depression, anxiety, and grief from loss. My experience spans working with individuals, families, and groups, providing compassionate care to help others find strength and growth in their unique circumstances.

Creating a safe, supportive, and empathetic environment is at the heart of my practice. I aim to equip clients with tools, strategies, and education to enhance their overall well-being. Using evidence-based techniques, I focus on empowering clients through self-awareness, understanding, and self-love. My therapeutic approach includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to identify and change unhelpful thought patterns, Solution-Focused Therapy to build on strengths and create actionable steps, and mindfulness techniques to cultivate presence and awareness for personal growth. I look forward to collaborating with you on your journey to healing, growth, and empowerment. Together, we can work toward meaningful change and an improved sense of well-being.
