About Me
With over 25 years of experience in various helping professions, I have dedicated my career to supporting children and families. My professional background spans child protective services, residential foster care, mental health, public health, domestic violence, and vocational rehabilitation. This diverse experience has equipped me with a deep understanding of the unique challenges faced by individuals and families in different settings.
My current focus is on making mental health services more accessible within our community. I strive to provide a safe and supportive space for individuals and families to address and overcome their challenges, emphasizing their physical, emotional, social, and spiritual well-being. By integrating techniques from Cognitive Behavior Therapy with a holistic and person-centered approach, I help clients understand how unresolved past traumas and experiences can influence their reactions to current challenges.
I am committed to empowering my clients to take an active role in their mental health journey, guiding them towards self-awareness, self-understanding, and self-love. This process is designed to help clients effectively cope with life’s stressors and ultimately achieve a state of well-being. Together, let’s embark on a path to healing and growth!
As Friedrich Nietzsche wisely said, "There will always be rocks in the road ahead of us. They will be stumbling blocks or stepping stones; it all depends on how you use them." Let's turn those rocks into stepping stones together.
