Welcome! I’m Thomes Buchanan, a dedicated counselor specializing in rehabilitation counseling, with a particular emphasis on working with youth, adolescents, and their families. Originally from the vibrant city of Chattanooga, Tennessee, I now proudly call Lincoln, Alabama, my home. I am also currently a doctoral student focusing on Counselor Education and Supervision, deepening my expertise to better serve my clients. I currently accept Alabama Children's Medicaid, Private Pay and select EAP's.

My practice is driven by a profound passion for assisting individuals, especially young people and their families, as they navigate life's transitions. I hold both Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from the University of Alabama, which laid the groundwork for my counseling career.
As a devoted mother of two, I understand the importance of balancing personal and professional life. This insight is crucial in my commitment to lifelong learning, and I am continually updating my knowledge with the latest in counseling and therapy techniques.
In my approach to counseling, I prioritize compassion, empathy, and a genuine desire to empower my clients. Whether I'm helping someone overcome personal obstacles or guiding them through significant life changes, my goal is to promote growth, resilience, and holistic well-being in all my clients.
