About Me
As a specialist in counseling adolescent and adult males, as well as couples, I am dedicated to fostering emotional growth and psychological resilience. My therapeutic approach is designed to address behavioral issues and support clients through significant life transitions, equipping them with the necessary tools to navigate life's challenges effectively.
I offer a safe and empathetic space for you to explore your feelings and experiences without judgment. You can count on me to listen attentively and support you every step of the way. Born and raised in Anniston, AL, I hold a BS in Psychology and an MS in Community Agency Counseling from Jacksonville State University. I have a rich background in serving the community, having worked with the State of Alabama DHR for over 18 years, where I assessed and addressed the extensive needs of families and children. I completed my internship at New Directions, providing both group and individual therapy to those dealing with substance abuse and mental health issues.

My counseling philosophy is centered on empathy and creating a nonjudgmental space for individuals to express their experiences. I believe in a holistic approach that considers the complete person—physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual. By fostering a healthy therapeutic relationship, I guide clients in exploring their thoughts, feelings, behavioral patterns, and core beliefs. This exploration is a pathway to growth, personal development, and ultimately, complete self-awareness.
Using primarily Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) while remaining open to other techniques, my goal is to empower you to connect with yourself, your past and current experiences, and your emotions, helping you to determine the best path forward in resolving your dilemmas. As a therapist, I strive to treat each person as a unique individual, worthy of unconditional acceptance, and my aim is to partner with you to find healing on all levels—emotionally, mentally, physically, and spiritually.
